Páistí Beaga Creche & Montessori
Páistí Beaga Crèche & Montessori has been established since 2004, although the Owner/Manager, Patricia Hennessy, has been in childcare for many years. Our premises are purpose built and we are located next door to the National School in Quin. Páistí Beaga Crèche is registered with the Health Service Executive and is in full compliance with the Childcare Regulations 1996. All of our staff are highly qualified and our Montessori classes are guided by fully qualified Montessori teachers.

ECCE and National Childcare Schemes Available - Starting in Late August/September.
ECCE Scheme/AIM
All eligible children can avail of two full programme years of FREE preschool (76 weeks in total).
The programme is available to all children from the September after the child has turned 2 years and 8 months. You can read more about the ECCE Programme here.
The Early Childhood Care Scheme (ECCE) will commence on Thursday, 26th August 2021
Providing 38 weeks of a high quality care and education programme.
(AIM) The Access and Inclusion Model is a programme of supports designed for children with disabilities so that they can access the ECCE Programme in mainstream pre-school settings. It involves seven levels of progressive support, moving from the universal to the targeted, based on individual needs. It does not require a formal diagnosis of disability. National Childcare Scheme
The National Childcare Scheme (NCS) is a childcare subsidy scheme providing both universal and income-based subsidies.
You can apply for this at www.ncs.gov.ie. You need a 'MyGovID' in order to apply. You can apply for this here.
Apply now to avoid delays in subsidy payments. The National Childcare Scheme does not backdate payments and payments begin only after your child has been registered with Páistí Beaga AND you have approved their registration on the NCS Hive website.
